HOW IT WORKS: No batteries or re-calibration required. Designed on a chemical reaction that is sensitive only to alcohol. The sensitive crystals change color when exposed to alcohol.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

  • Ensure that 15 minutes have passed since the subject’s last alcoholic drink.
  • Recommend that the subject drink 10 oz of clear water before taking the test.
  • Open the package and remove the tube.
  • Squeeze the middle of the outer plastic tube to break the inner glass ampule.
  • Take a deep breath and blow in one continuous breath.
  • Wait for 2 minutes. Then observe the color change of the crystals.
The crystals in the .02% test turn blue green if alcohol is present.
The crystals in the .04%, .05%, and .08% will turn a greenish color if alcohol is present.
